Trying to pay with a FNB card - rejected !

I tried for 2nd time (?) to use y debit card. It was in Builders Whse . Transaction declined .. i have avail > 25K in the account, transaction for <R1k .. what comes as SMS though is something like amount reserved for transaction and immediately after this transaction reversed ;-) Pathetic .. Apparently this beautiful way of thing happens to others .. Immediately pulled my Investec card - in a flash - all through !

Not using my FNB debit card - too much scare of penalties for failed transactions - watching above incident and if any penalty going absolutely gaga at any level .. I am many 10s of years in IT and in systems design for performance / large volumes Oracle systems - FNB must be the worst experience in my life, Investec certainly shines !
