Transfer to FNB is not as easy as advertised
Trying to move the FNB has been horrible. Its not as easy as they advertise.
I app**** online, and after weeks of waiting for my card to be delivered, I went into FNB branch n1 city, who confirmed that they lost my card and recommend that I collect at the branch instead. This resulting in the bank charging me for a new card that they LOST.
So, I take a deep breath .. trust all the reviews that I can do almost everything else by myself, once the card is activated.
NOT THE CASE!!. I needed to move MYSELF 90% of my debit orders( once again, not easy to transfer to FN as advertised). I was sent an email that I need to call to activate my ebucks, called the number and the agent couldn't assist. There was an issue with the app. To date, my ebucks are still not activated.
I then tied to make an online payment, and got an error that 3d secure is an issue. Created a chat with private bankers (being some premium member well something like that), followed the instructions provided by the banker, just to see that that option is not avail. The banker advised that now I need to call 3d secure (not doing everything myself).
So with the failed attempt with ebucks, I call 3d secure, who transferred me to online banking who them transfers me back to 3d secure and then the call drops. This goes on for about 3 times, before I need to go back to my actual job.
Today, I tried to purchase water/electricity online.. lol get an error message saying i need to call. Yeah .. doing everything yourself must mean you need to call FNB all day and get your call dropped. So I give it another shot, call the number on the error message.
Did I connect you ask, no nothing .. call keeps dropping.
Is that an issue with my phone you may ask? No, I can make calls from other service providers .. I mean how else did I transfer my debit orders, by myself. Agents keep calling to sell me insurance, so my phone is working. I even turn it off and on.
This service is horrible.
