Transaction went off twice - no refund!

<p>On Friday the 3rd of March, I swiped my FNB card at B*****k Fuel (Heidelberg Gauteng) for the amount of R225. It immediately went off from my "available balance"</p> <p>This morning (Wednesday, 8th of March), I received an sms that the exact same transaction went off again

So FNB, called this morning, they are arguing to death with me that the amount did not go off twice. I sat and wrote down every single cent from my statements and did all calculation. Including the first R225 from Friday. I am supposed to have R1046 left and I have R821 left (the exact amount of R225 is missing from my account!!) So it went ofd TWICE!!! Also got screenshots from my "InContact" messages on my FNB app where it shows that the other R225 was deducted yester morning at 18 minutes past 3. (In the middle of the night?!?!?!) I am not even awake at that time!!

First off all - I eventually took an afternoon off work yesterday to get this sorted.

I went to our FNB branch in Heidelberg. I would like to thank Boniwe (spelling?) Who so promptly assisted me and within less than a minute immediately saw that what I stated happened on my account really did happen without even having to explain to her! She helped me fill in the dispute form etc and told me that my money will be back in my account within 5 working days. Thank you so much Boniwe.

But than I would like to clarify, how miss BRENDA ALEXANDER (who spoke to me for almost 20 minutes on the phone yesterday) was NOT able to see it?!?!?! She made me seem like an idiot who has no idea what is going on in my own bank account. She argued with me the whole ****** time, basically (not in so many words though) saying that I have no idea what I am talking about and that I can't do the calculation on my own bank account... I do not think she has a clue what she is doing.. she told me almost 20 times that the money did not leave my account twice, where Boniwe could see that it did within less than 2 minutes, without even asking for me to explain it. Miss Alexander has absolutely no customer service personality and could end up losing FNB potential clients. I was very, very close to closing my FNB after speaking to miss B Alexander on the phone yesterday. Luckily, there is still some people left, willing to help their clients. Thanks Boniwe! :-)
