Totally DISGUSTED with FNB!!!!!!!

I am totally disgusted with the service that I am currently receiving from FNB (First National Bank). I had an account with FNB that I have closed early in 2016 only to find out now 2 years later when I app**** for a home loan that the account has never been closed and has been accumulating bank costs for 2 years. This is now preventing me from being successful in my applications. Even though I went in to the branch (Mall @ Reds) to close my account back in 2016 all they can say is that they have no record that I have been there to close my account and that I am liable for the moneys outstanding.

Not once in the 2 years that have passed have I received any phone call, email, sms, post that I owed FNB any money, so how is a person supposed to know that there is a PROBLEM and to resolve it?????????????????????????? SO NOW YOU TELL ME, HOW IS THIS FAIR?????????

How is this my problem that you have failed to close my account and that the person that was sitting behind the counter failed to do her job. Now I am getting declined to my house and stand the risk of losing it because of the stuff up that you (FNB) has made. I have been in to see the branch on numerous occasions and I have been passed from pillar to post with not getting any closer to get this issue resolved.

I CAN NOT AND WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SOMEONE ELSE STUFF UP!!!!

Another issue that I have with you (FNB) is that in 2015 I took a temp loan from FNB that was paid up within 30 days. Again applying for my home loan it came up as an outstanding amount owed to the bank. After a couple of days battle to get that resolved I finally got a letter from you loans department stating that it was paid up 2 YEARS ago. Not even sure if this has been removed from my risk status???????????????

I am eagerly waiting for you (FNB) to contact me and resolve this issue. I will lose my house because of this STUFF UP from FNB!!!!!!
