Took FNB 7 years to realise I'm not fica compliant!

I have my accounts with Fnb for the last 7 years and I have never been asked for Fica documents. Yesterday (Friday) I received a message on my app to say that my accounts are blocked due to fica. Obviously in 5 secs I'm not gonna have things ready before my accounts got blocked. No one carries cash anymore!!! And I was left with no access to any funds! The next day I took my lease and ID to a branch only to be told they can't accept it! I spoke to a lady on Friday Juwairiya who cut the call on me when I asked to be transferred to the fica department. Today I tried again only to be told they don't work on a weekend to unblock my accounts! It just shows how a company like Fnb that pushes digitalisation for banking can suddenly block you out of your accounts and THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO! They give you no time to gather and still show up in a branch which takes forever! I have a job! I can't sit for hours in a branch in my work hours to go and get verified all in one damn day! I received no warning or prior notice to say that my docs are outstanding! Fica has been in existence for a years and it took FNB 7 years to decide to ask me for docs.
