Today I had a another very bad experience with the FNB call centre
Today I had a another very bad experience. My Premier Credit card was charged with an unknown amount of R1600 called Account Update on Nov 2nd which made the automatic debit order payment short and in addition was charged R730 interest. When I tried to query this using the Premier Banking call centre I was moved around from department to department having to get approved over 5 times. No one was able to understand the problem or able to help. On my 6th time I managed to get to one consultant that seemed to be able to register my complaint. I am now hoping to hear from someone. Overall shocking performance! Abel Acuna ID ***

11 Nov 2021, 06:17The feedback received via email had erroneous information and the issue reported still remains unresolved. I have asked by email response that the ******** interest deduction of R730.09 be reversed giving the reasons for this request:
- I have an automatic monthly debit order payment arrangement from my FNB current account.
- The fact that Nov 1st was declared a public holiday is not my problem.
- The debit order payment went out as R 30 391.44 on Nov 2 instead of the required R 31 991.44, I presume as a result of the collections involvement (their R 1600 Account Update entry). This was totally out of my control and not my fault.
- Your attachment letter from the credit card division states incorrectly that the payment received was only R 15,770.01. This was the debit order payment made for the previous month on Oct 1st. This letter does not make any sense.
