TO FNB CEO - Entry #2
Good day, Mr. Celliers.
I am writing these daily entries as an inconsequential outlet to elevate the laborious pain you have burdened me with... Jacques, you have disturbed my peace.
No one takes my calls or responds to my emails. Your bright idea to turn your Branches into Internet Cafes is working perfectly. Your leadership has taken the humanity out of service. No one empathizes or can be moved by the human experience. It is a measly R6639,13 for you and your billion Rand corporation. For me, it is the difference between paying rent, buying food, and even going to work. As a 3-Month-old FNB Customer, I have nothing but disdain for the three alphabets you proudly represent. I have had to take out a loan from my original bank(whom I almost left for you.) to help me mitigate the common South African tale of making ends meet.
Every day, Jacques. I suffer for the simple mathematical error those who follow you refuse to correct or address me on. I suspect my Account has been flagged as "Ignore IT, Until Goes Away". If I didn't need my money, that chapter of your classic, "How To Treat A Customer." FNB Handbook, would have worked.
I simply have to live with the financial consequences of your leadership. Anway, Jacques. Knowing how your business operates, I'll catch up with you same time tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Good day, Mr. Celliers.
I trust your day was as productive as mine. You are who I think of when I wake, and as you've noticed at the time of this post, Jacques, you occupy prime real estate in the space between consciousness and my dreams.
I visited your Melville Internet Cafe today, Jacques. I finally spoke to the man who decided to "resolve" my case, and here's where I appreciate your quirky kicker, he's not even an accountant! Anyway, I spent 3,5 hours there, speaking to him over teams, fumbling over simple balancing a ledger.
I will be meeting with him again tomorrow. So rest assured. by the end of our engagement, your organization will know how it feels like to have a leader show them the way. Of course, yet again, this will be at my expense.
Have a great one, I'll update you tomorrow.
