THIRD complaint - still no resolution - ***** or incompetence in regards to the COVID loan

SO THIS IS THE FINAL OF T-H-R-E-E complaints, as I will now go to the ombudsman, the police (which might laugh, but I want an official case open) and then the newspaper.

I have been promised SINCE my 1st complaint on the 3rd of August (about the current issue, not overall) that my complaint is a high priority and that they have assigned someone to deal with the issue, as it is a HIGH PRIORITY due to the nature of the complaint. TWO Complaints earlier - no calls,no emails and no resolution. They are NOT scared of the average person, they DON'T CARE ABOUT THE AVERAGE PERSON.

SO THIS IS MY THIRD AND FINAL COMPLAINT BEFORE GOING B-I-G on all media with my complaints and the initial correspondence I have with FNB when I took the loan and the terms of which was set out in an email,WHICH THEY ARE NOW GOING AGAINST (Email proof!) - Aramex and Postnet thought I wouldn't do it,and I did. They had to eat humble pie and sor tit out at the highest levels, due to my media campaign, even after I gave them ample time to sort out the issue. It's now your turn FNB!

For context, here are my previous unanswered complaints (other than a generic email stating a reference number for the complaint - and then NOTHING)

So here you go!

AUGUST 3RD: FNB COVID LOAN - ***** OR INCOMPETENCE in regards to repayment amounts COVID RELIEF LOAN - So EXACTLY what I asked about before my application, during and after it was paid out,has now AGAIN been changed!

What I was told, when I asked about it,was that FNB will be paying out a loan amount to help for 3 MONTHS to cover my debit orders. THEN - in the 2nd call, after it was approved, I was told that it would ONLY cover my FNB debit order - but yet they paid out R22,593.67, which is way more than my FNB debits. AND I was told that I won't have access to funds and that they will be administering the loan and making the payments on my behalf..to themselves...ok...

When, on my THIRD CALL and complaint about false or incorrect information, I inquired about the amount paid out, I was told over the phone,by a (very nice) complaints rep who phoned me back, that they would be paying over R3000 a month into my overdraft, bringing it down by R9K over the 3 month period (which DIDN"T happen),pay for my credit card (which happened to a certain extent), my device (which they covered) and my law-on-call (which they covered) AND that THAT is the way that it all ads up to the R22K.

The R9K I was told would be paid into my overdraft never happened - instead they only covered my overdraft's interest, about R1,5K total (unfortunately my overdraft has been fully used,as I have a boss that hasn't increased my salary in close to 7 years and we had medical expenses etc over the years, which is why we had to tap into it,but I digress..)

THEN - when I asked about what will happen to the remaining amount (OVER R11/12K left after the 3 months), SEEING THAT FNB IS CHARGING INTEREST on the R22K EVERY MONTH AAANNDDD SEEING THAT THEY WILL BE DEBITING over R400 every month for 60 months,BASED on R22K, I was told that FNB will be TRANSFERRING THE remaining R11/12K back to THEMSELVES - even though I'll be paying for the R22K and the info is in the agreement.

THIS takes us to ANOTHER FNB complaint the APP and Hellopeter about the above feedback from FNB about my repayment amount versus the amount they actually paid towards my debits. This led me to Keegan Dollie at FNB and his reply email,WHICH I still have. I was then told that after the July, based on my total amount used,my monthly amount due will be recalculated based on what FNB ACTUALLY USED FOR MY FNB DEBITS and NOT the amount they paid out in the beginning of the 3 months,UNLESS they end up using the ENTIRE R22K towards my debits (they ACTUALLY used just under R10K)

SO THIS BRINGS US TO MY COMPLAINT - They haven't recalculated my repayment based on the actual amount used, AS WAS THE CONFIRMED PROCEDURE BY AN FNB REP VIA EMAIL,WHICH I WILL BE TAKING TO THE OMBUDSMAN,THEY WILL BE DEBITING A MONTHLY AMOUNT based on the R22K.

SO NOT JUST ARE THEY TAKING MONTHLY PAYMENTS BASED ON a R22K loan,THEY REPAID THE REMAINING R12,909.16 (which I will APPARENTLY be paying for) BACK TO THEMSELVES. So if they don't recalculate my monthly amount,as confirmed in a mail OR pay me the remaining amount from the loan, this constitutes ***** and I will OPEN A CASE AT THE POLICE against all the people I dealt with ( I kept their details) and then take this to the newspapers, as I have TWO journo friends who would be GLAD to write something about banks *****ING people over during a global pandemic.

THEN

AUGUST 7th: FNB loan ***** or loan incompetence - STILL NO CALL OR RESOLUTION,even after PROMISES I’ve laid over 14 complaints against FNB IN THE LAST 3 months, via this platform, their website, email and phone calls.

Most recently,I laid a complaint on the 4th of August, where I was told that it is a HIGH PRIORITY complaint to them and that I’ll receive a call.

To date,I have yet to receive a call or any explanation,PLUS since my complaint,FNB has now and ALTERED my covid loan accounts to make it look like they’ve used the remaining 12K they paid back to themselves OR made it look like they’ve paid it out to me - these actions can be and might be seen as *****.... (OR is it just severe and gross incompetence?) No responses or replies and they’ve padded my account with an extra R12K that I DIDN’T USE and that they DIDN’T pay into my fnb debits - that is ***** (or is it just severe and gross incompetence?) If there is a logical explanation about why they are trying to say that they’ve paid out over R22K over the last 3 MONTHS in my debits that only amounted to just under R10K,then I would like to hear their excuse! I will be doing something that I deem correct and founded, which is open up a case at the SAPS if they don’t clarify and rectify the problem AND then take that case to the newspapers - I’m F’ing SICK of banks and financial institutions taking advantage of SOUTH AFRICANS DURING THESE TIMES!! I’ve agreed to pay just over R400 p/m,based on a loan of just over R22K,NOT over just over R400 pm for a R10K loan!!! Are you f’ing kidding me????

I’m done playing nice!! If I don’t have this resolved (as I was promised a call and resolution AND that it was a HIGH PRIORITY CASE to them,on the 4th of August already) I will be taking my responses to the extreme in regards to making your actions known to the country - don’t think I’m kidding, as I’ve taken on a European airline in public forums, across all social media, over a 6 month period for trying the same **** you are and they finally resolved it,PLUS paid out compensation for the stress and distress caused.. No lawyers, just the court of public opinion and copies of the documents, agreements and correspondence between myself and FNB employees..If you can record convo’s,so can I.... Try me!

I have my business and personal accounts with you guys - you make close to R2K a month from me on FEES alone!

But hey,I’m not part of the demographic that is important to FNB,so that’s why it’s OK,in your minds,to F ME over!!

You have 24HRS before I go to the cops, the ombudsman, social media and then then papers!

It might not mean ANYTHING to you,but right now, money is tight and anyone F’ing with my livelihood will be brought to task!!

So F’ing OVER FNB bullShssshh!!!!

SO FNB - You were the LAST to provide help. THE WORST IN THE WAY YOU PROVIDED HELP, then multiple errors in the execution and then your terms kept changing AFTER I've signed the docs. Your reasoning behind the amounts kept changing, your promises kept changing - AND YOUR HELP AND RESPONSE IN REGARDS TO MY COMPLAINT - Z-E-R-O!!

Well done as the worst bank in the country (after multiple polls)

I expect a call within the next 24hrs before it get's messy guys!
