Think twice before converting to FNB Connect!
I will never understand why shop assistants, waiters and call centre agents in this country will always look for the quickest way to get rid of a customer. I wish CEO's would make much more disguised visits/calls to their own company. I had a basic SIM swap query, but the assistant at dotFNB put in much more effort to explain why he can't help me, than to try and go the extra mile. It took a 5min visit to Vodacom around the corner to learn about something called a SIM converter, and 5 more minutes to buy one in the Skywalk. Back at dotFNB I had to lead the assistant in confirming that my phone number will be dead if I swop from normal to Nano. He further advised that he is not certain that it is a good thing to cut your SIM card with the converter. The converter don't entail any cutting
