Think twice before asking FNB for a quote.

We asked for a quote with FNB to move our home loan over to them. Their interest rate was too high. Shortly after rejecting the offer in writing and telephonically, I received an SMS to notify me that my home loan has been sent to an attorney for further processing. I phoned the attorney's office to let her know that we had reject the offer and she told me that this is just FNB's process. Apparently your home loan will be processed regardless of accepting it. Tonight, a debit order mandate was added to my account. The consultant that was helping us with the application is now silent.
