They will do everything not to pay you the agreed amount

I am disappointed by the way my claim was handled. I have even decided to cancel this policy. They tell you that they are going to pay R1000 for each day that you are hospitalised. I was admitted in hospital from the 31 of May, and transferred to "hospital at home" from the 4th of June until the 10th of June when I was discharged. They sent me forms that I had to pay for upon requesting the doctor to complete the forms. They then gave me a call and told me that I wont get paid out for the days that I was hospitalised at home which I disputed because according to me I was still in hospital, reason being I could not leave the house, I had an oxygen tank with me, I had an IV installation which required a nurse to come and administer every morning and evening along with checking my vitals. My heart rate was also monitored 24/7. I requested FNB to send me a copy of the terms and conditions and they did not, instead they proceeded to transfer R3000 to my account instead of R10000 as I was admitted for 10days. Even after they transferred these funds, I did not receive a breakdown or statement of how they came to that amount .
