Their jingle should be: HOW CAN WE FRUSTRATE YOU?
FNB have changed their cellphone banking twice in under a year. I tried to buy R700.00 electricy and it takes me through an authentication process, which I complete. I check what the daily limit is and I see it is R1500.00 so I go back and attempt to redo the purchase only to be told its over my limit. I phone the helpline (now I'm very angry and do use very harsh words). They try to authenticate me by asking what my address was when I opened the account. I give them the address where I lived in 1993 but that wasn't right so as I can't remember when exactly I opened the account. They don't offer any hints and can't even tell me when that address was captured so that I could give the address associated with the date. Thank you FNB for the past 25 years, but I will be taking my business elsewhere HOW CAN WE HELP YOU - CLEARLY YOU CAN'T
