THE WRONG TURNS JUST NEVER END

My relationship with FNB took a turn for the worst since last July. It began with an investigator (Lunga Bottoman) making a very personal decision because he felt attacked by my questioning. Anyways, I had taken a cellphone contract around that very same period.

The investigator's decision was that my relationship with the bank should be terminated, resulting in the closure of my cash accounts. My credit account remained open. The problem is that the bank couldn't set debit orders from my alternate bank (some bitter ex tendencies). Anyways, I was then given banking details to make manual payments into. I then took these details and fed them to my alternate bank (Capitec) for recurring payments, and they commendably honoured these payments without fail.

In October, another turn to worst came up, which, I was made to believe had been rectified. Fast forward, now it turns out I owe FNB about 4 months' installments, and my case is not referred to debt collectors. I provided all the payment proofs showing that I actually made the payments, but it seems all a little too late as my credit score has dropped drastically.

I asked the lady who had called to tell me about the debt collection decision on my debt to give me my current balance so I can settle the debt, but no response has been given yet. I really feel ****med now.
