The worst thing about FNB is being forced to deal with CCD Couriers
I can not understand why FNB continues to use CCD Couriers for their bank card deliveries - and has the cheek to charge a premium if you wold rather not deal with this useless and frustrating "Logistics" company and fetch your card in the branch.
I don't understand if this service is supposed to be for convenience sake, but it has turned out to be some the most inconvenient dealings I have had this year - and not just in an isolated incident - but on 3 separate occasions.
The worst thing about having my wallet ****** is being forced to deal with CCD couriers to get my FNB card replacement delivered to me. I can not understand why FNB insists on using a company with such a poor service model and one that I have had such bad service from them everytime I have had to deal with them. CCD calls itself a Logistics company - but they are incapable of scheduling a delivery time within a smaller window than 8am - 4pm. I am expected to sit at home the entire day waiting for them and then they still dont pitch. Logistics would imply that you could schedule your deliveries and actually run a reliable service which CCD Couriers is entirely incapable of doing.
During the follow-up conversations, I was informed that I could request a shorter time frame window for a small fee - but this was never communicated to me either from FNB or from CCDs customer care consultants on the 3 occasions I called to try and arrange such a thing.
This service of being to arrange a scheduled delivery time is a really great option and should be stipulated either when one orders the card with FNB OR in the confirmation sms when CCD confirms the delivery date or offered by CCD or FNB consultants upon a call.
Making this option available and clear could really turn this service around - since once we have arranged a time I found the CCD Courier driver to be prompt, polite and professional with the delivery.
If this was offered as a part of your service it could turn this experience from being very frustrating to being an absolute pleasure.
Thank you CCD Couriers for making amends and fixing this issue.
