The worst service ever from FNB
To Rate FNB one star is far too high, i have just about had enough with them. I have a revolving credit account with them and when covid started i repeatedly try to contact them to arrange a better interest rate and payment plan to pay this account off, only never to speak to the same person and each time had to go through the whole rigmarole on each call. I was alway told there is nothing they can do and that the account had to be 3 months or more in arrears before they would even consider a payment plan. After many month of this i then just left the account unpaid as per they recommendation, only now to be handed over to some company called MBD who i spoke to and forwarded me a letter for payment. i then wrote back then and said due to there never been a accurate record of any telephone conversation made with FNB i will now only deal with them via email so that we have a written record of what is going on. On their first email to me i rep**** back with a letter and income and expense showing that i could only afford so much per month, today i received a second letter of demand so when i call them the lady who i spoke to said that there no record of my email and they get to many emails to deal with so i have to make arrangement over the phone to which i explained that i wont as when i have done so in the past and called there was nothing on the system. If they showed any concern for their customers they would firstly employ people, not machines to make decisions and if they really want there money back why not help me from the start rather than fobbing me off all the time. I understand that i borrowed the money and do not - not want to repay it just asking for a little help here. For a few year i was a private client account holder paying a ridiculous bank charge with a private banker that had absolutely not authority to make any decisions. I want nothing more to do with this bank.
