The service I have come to expect, TERRIBLE!

FNB's service is TERRIBLE!

It does not matter which channel you use. When you call the call center you are put on hold for at least 15 minutes. They have now allowed the Gold card holders to use the chat on the FNB App, which also takes over 15 minutes for a FNB staff member to assist.

So I thought I would try go into a branch, Sandton 4 Merchant Place. I start waiting for 20 minutes before a staff member could assist me, then sat for another 20 minutes with the consultant, Thato, whom promised me to get back to me. This is a week ago! Even the branch manager, Werner, promised to get back to me that same day! But yet I wait!

In the recent years I have held multiple accounts with FNB, each one has come with its own headache.

Business account (now closed due to lack of service) took over a month to open the account because of an error in one of the documents. FNB kept requesting the document via email but never explained in the issue or bothered to call, this account cost R399 in fees a month, surely that includes calling a client to resolve an issue.

My investment accounts, I had a TFS, 7, 32 day fixed deposit account. Due to bad service I have closed all these accounts. And the service I was and still am requesting is to upgrade my current account!!!

My home loan, what a joke! FNB again lived up to my expectation of EXTREMELY POOR service! I app**** for a home loan, the lady that Haley Naidoo had personal issues and went on leave without handing over to anyone. Which left me in the dark for over a month!

I am beyond tired with FNB's EXTREMELY POOR service!

Once again!

Complaint has been logged and this is the process:
1. FNB tries to call at 12:55, I was in a meeting but they do not leave a message
2. I return the call, *** at 12:56, dial option 2 then 1
- I get through to a call center operator whom HANGS UP ON ME!
- Then I call back, new lady can't help me and advises that FNB will try to call me back. As apparently they have a "try to call back 3 times" policy! This is a surprise to me as they have NEVER in over 10+ years that I have been banking with them done this!
- This is my experience, FNB lets the phone ring maximum 3 times then puts done, you will then get an email saying that they have tried to call but no answer AND THAT IS WHERE IT ENDS!

WHAT A JOKE!!!

And here I am complaining again about FNB lack of service!

Upgrade my account, pay more on service fees but get the same TERRIBLE service!

When upgrading my account I sent FNB an agreement, they received the agreement but never filed it! This was told to me after my THIRD comms session with FNB! They have removed my overdraft facility due to the agreement that was not filed! I would think that paying for more service would equate to more service but not with FNB!

After 2 months of struggling with this issue I am no closer to getting this resolved! And FNB please don't use the excuse that due to the Corona virus outbreak you could not get to this! As I said this has be unresolved for 2 months!
