The saga continues

Captain's log.... 6 months in and I am yet to be helped by the mythical "How can we help you?" beings of the land "FNB". After doing everything in their power to avoid repairing my Fitbit, charging me R160 to courier it from their cancellation department to their repair department, costing my time and money resources to follow up on a continuous basis, I made contact with the makers of FITBIT who couriered a brand new device from OVERSEAS within 3 days of my contact. Happy customer? Oh no no no...You see, my adventure continues. I need my charger...I don't have my charger....FNB has my charger...."Yes, mam....that will be R160 to send it back to you". The cheek! The audacity! After receiving NO help for 6 months, no extended helping hand of good customer service, forcing me to call and email and write complaints, again and again, for 6 MONTHS, they wish to top it all off with a nice R320 total charge for the privilege of the hernia I will invariably enjoy. Calls to the complaints line and promises that someone will get back to me have yet to be upheld. My charger has yet to be returned weeks after the request - I begin to suspect it may have been lost...

And so, my dear readers, I resort yet again to HelloPeter in the hopes of some action, some modicum of this mythical offer of help that they profess to provide, so that my beautiful new Fitbit can cease its silent accusation as it waits, useless, without its charger.

In a last twist of fate, my cheque card snapped in my pocket and I feel no inclination to replace it as I print out my RICA documents and research the pros and cons of competitor banks...for now - signing out with the reference complaint of **********
