The Poorest Service Ever Received

I was sent an email from the FNB Business Engagement Team in October of this year informing me that my accounts will be closed by the 4th of January 2024 and when I went to my branch to find out what this notification was all about no one could tell me at branch level was able to throw any light onto this subject. I sent an email to the address where the notification came from and got what appeared to be a suspicious computer generated letter telling me what the reasoning is which said a lot but nothing at all. No exact explanation was given which made me think it was a *****ulent communication as no one at the branch or the call center for that matter could give me any exact information Then the 4th of December came around and I wanted to purchase something online and was informed that there was a problem and the payment could not be honored. I contacted FNB via the app and was told that my account has been closed and that my salary and Christmas Bonus was transferred to a suspense account. I asked what needed to be done and was told to supply a bank account to where the funds could be transferred, which I did. I was then told it would take 72 Hours to transfer the funds to take place. More than a day after the 72 Hours had expired nothing had happened and no proof of transfer had been provided. I then suspected that this was indeed a *****ulent transaction and contacted the ***** hot line and reported the case. They mentioned that they will investigate and it may take as long as 30 days to complete. In the mean time I am not able to service any of my accounts or Debit orders as my salary is being held by FNB and still no one can give me any idea of what is going on and when I can expect my money. I went to my Branch again today and waited for more than 2 hours and was told that my money is now being tied up with the ***** Department and will possibly be released after the supposed investigation is completed, but this is not for sure as the branch cannot give me any answers and the ***** department is silent in this matter. Now my question is do the management of FNB actually know what they are doing or are they complicit in this occurrence? My general feel here is there is more to this story than what meets they eye and it appears that FNB is busy sinking or failing and is in the process taking whatever proceeds they can get their hands on now including that which is not theirs.
