The least secure bank - FNB

Please explain to me how my bank who supposedly cares about my financial welfare makes a compulsory corporate policy that anyone is allowed to tap my card up to R500 on my Credit card as well as my Debit card without my consent and I can not change that to R0 PLUS they are not prepared to stand accountable for these funds when unauthorised spending occurs. Instead I have to jump through hoops to try to protect my OWN money. I cannot do this on my internet banking where I can easily INCREASE my daily limit nor through the "friendly and convenient personal banker" on the App, I cannot do this via the "not-so-convenient call centre (Which I have tried twice on airtime I will not be compensated for - Agents can't call back), so my next option is to take special time out of my work day (time for which I will not be compensated for by FNB) to drive into town (I do not live in town, so again petrol I will not be compensated for) to hopefully have someone at the branch do it there and then - except when I tried this a couple of years ago, all they could do was again to put in a request on system. Eventually they just wear you out so you stop and leave your account exposed - which is why I stopped nagging then. Then at least I managed after relentless requests, to get my Debit Card on a pin for any amount above R0 (I think the default limit on the Debit card was R200 then), however they still refused to put my Credit Card on R0. My Debit card expired and lo an behold, my R0 limit is back on, and now it' R500 and I have to start this fight all over again!!!! when I give feedback on the email they ask after a Call centre call expressing my dissatisfaction regarding the security of my cards, they delete it without reading it??!!!! what is the point of asking i wonder or is all this "sweet talk" about caring just that - ONLY SWEET TALK!

a private reply??? really? - let's see what happens this time after just another complaint has been lodged to the "relevant department" - passing the buck to the "relevant department" is what service consists of nowadays - I am losing count of the number of formal complaints and requests that have been lodged....
