The dark continent of service

FNB ask “How can we help you”

Answer: Your staff apparently are unable to do so. They make your customer’s life hell with their incompetence.

The FICA act is proving to be incomprehensible to the FNB department that handles the paperwork to ensure all accounts are FICA'd.

· Starting from the 7th of September I received the first document. It was completed and returned on the same day.

· Then came a request for an ID which was sent numerous times and eventually personally to the Woodmead branch on Tuesday 8th November ticket 72 counter 8 where the counter hand scanned it herself. I was assured all was fine and in order.

· Friday 11th of November account blocked.

· Monday14th Now I was phoned by Ismael and asked for proof of residence for a business and resolution of who operates the account. All forms/letters submitted.

· Friday 18th November Account still blocked. There has been a comedy of events with another document sent on 17th November entitled Appointment of Sole Administrator.

Can FNB not put a package together with all the forms required and send them once or is that too much to expect from the *********** newly appointed bankers? Nobody at FNB is prepared to help sort this out. You cannot contact anyone as all their numbers are unknown.

I am tired of dealing with people in a call centre.

It is now the 18th of November and my query is still not resolved and my account is still blocked

HOW CAN WE HELP YOU? By getting your managers to actually do their job.

Don’t switch your account to FNB if this service is anything to go by.
