The bank I trusted so much and advocated for has let me done. :(
Good day FNB
I hope this mail does not find you well,
I would like to make reference to the ***** reference 2024 -*** correspondence which I received on the 3rd of September regarding a *****ulent transaction on my Cheque card dating 27/07/2024
In the letter you state that all 3 of the *****ulent Mr D transactions were authorised by either a onetime pin or incontact authorisation on the cell phone number registered.
This is untrue and completely false, I would like to receive the transcript that supports your claim; please could you email it to me.
At the time of these transactions I did not have the Mr. D app on my phone, I was home alone asleep, I had my phone and card in my possession,
I do not believe a thorough investigation was done here, the fact that you claim the “I authorised ” either by OTP or Incontact point to me that you yourself did not check the authorization to be complete correct.
I wish to dispute the outcome and request a thorough investigation on this matter, my trust for FNB has been negatively affected by all of this..... I no longer trust FNB with my money.
I was not once contacted or questioned to gather any info relating to the case, I waited over a month to receive correspondence/ feedback.
I would like to also bring it to you attention that the card which these activities occurred was a new card and I hadn’t had it longer than 1 month,
