The app is selling us dreams; don't get your hopes up

Extremely disappointed by the lack of service. I app**** for a loan on the app and received my pre-agreement. I decided to follow up as the funds were not reflecting. I was told that the loan is approved and the agent will escalate as he also isnt sure why it didn't pay out yet. I asked how long it would take and he said it should be sorted at about 1pm. When I called in again I was transferred to 3 different departments and spoke to 3 different people (Thabile, Tshiamo and Cecilia) who then told me my application is declined. Absolutely no communication from FNBs side to atleast tell me I'm declined, I had to keep calling in. If FNB is going to offer the "convenience" of applying on the app then please align your app loan application criteria with what you actually use when approving a loan and please have the courtesy to let us fools know when we've been declined instead of us waiting in vain.
