The absolute worst service I've experienced.
August last year FNB requested me to update and confirm my details as required by their Ongoing Due Diligence process. I completed all forms and supp**** supporting documents and I thought all was in order.
At the beginning of this month I get the horrible surprise that I can't transact. It turned out that it's due to a FICA hold on my account.
Since 6 July I've been in contact with cddtriggerescalations and received nothing but shockingly bad service. I've had to follow up multiple times before getting a response, I've sent them all required forms again with supporting documents and even though they confirmed that everything is in order, I still can't transact. My last email to them was 5 days ago and I still haven't received a response. I'm fed up with needing to follow up multiple times. It's clear that they can't care any less about customer service and find absolutely no urgency in the fact that a paying customer is unable to transact. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks that I haven't been able to transact.
Thank you for the documents received, all is in order and the hold has been removed. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience you may have experienced in respect to your FNB account. We deeply value your relationship with FNB and are committed to providing you with the highest level of service simply because our customers deserve the very best.Kind Regards,FNB
Today (29 July) I tried again, but I'm still unable to transact.
Dear FNB, do you even realize how poorly this reflects on your competence. It is now more than 3 weeks that I can't do transactions. Your lack of urgency means I'll probably wait several more days before you attempt to do something.
Moreover I suggest that you stop using that canned response of: "We deeply value your relationship with FNB...". I've received this same message multiple times yet your poor service clearly shows otherwise. It therefore comes across as ****.

After FNB confirmed last week in writing that everything is in order, I get another email this morning stating that a field of information on the form that I submitted, is outstanding. Today is 31 July and this is on the form that I submitted on 13 July for the second time.
Here's the joke: That particular field in question is not even applicable to me and that is clearly indicated on the form.
They are either intentionally messing clients around or it is due to severe incompetence. I'm so disappointed with and shocked by how bad the FNB processes have become. Are you not supposed to be compliant with processes prescribed by the regulators?
How is this possible, this is madness!
