TERRIBLE Service for Business Accounts

So we receive a cheque from a foreign embassy for R 77 000 deposit on a job (10/01/2018). The cheque was declined because it needed 2 signatures (The foreign official did not know this as he has only been in the country for 20 days). This embassy told us that when we return the original cheque, they will pay us our full R 110 000. FNB could not care less.

We phoned the branch (Saxby, Centurion), they said they can't help with the cheque even though they processes it, we must phone Queen at head office. We phone Queen at head office, she moans and groans that the branches are giving her direct number out, and says that she can't help me, the courier department needs to POST the cheque back to us (with SA's very reliable post office). I asked her can it be sent to the branch and we collect there? NO. I asked if we can collect directly in JHB? NO. We have to wait for the cheque to be posted to us.

Today (28/01/2018) we phone Queen again - she can't help or do anything, we need to speak to Vanessa, our relationship manager (whom we have never heard of or from). We phone Vanessa: "Oh sorry, I don't deal with cheques". We REFUSED to let it go, because Queen told us that Vanessa needs to get us the tracking number of the post office parcel. Vanessa eventually passed the buck and said she'll get Billy to sort it out. It's R 110 000 for which we have completed work, purchased materials and paid staff. Now the wait starts again.

I cannot believe that this is how FNB treats their business customers. We put millions through our business account every year and this is the service we receive? Everyone being so unwilling to assist in this issue? Never mind never having a relationship banker (like Standard Bank) and a single point of contact.
