Terrible service as usual

<p>Firstly, FNB send me a letter with an address of mine that has been invalid for more than 10 years. Long ago I battled with them to correct this address on my statements. So it's correct on my statements now for a while, but then they send me a repricing letter with an old address! Where did you dig up this address from?</p> <p> </p> <p>So then I sent them an email with my updated contact details since my email and postal addressess are changing, so that they can sort out my contact details one time. They didn't accept this instruction since it didn't come from an "authorised" address. Well, I work for a big corporate, and it's a matter of public record that my company changed it's name. My email address changed accordingly. I rep**** to the repricing letter, so they could see it's the same address (and that I'm still using the same mailbox, the new address is just an alias of the old one). But no, trying to reason with FNB staff is just not possible.</p> <p> </p> <p>When they phone me, then they want to verify my identity by asking me for my PIN. I have pointed out to them numerous times that I will never give my PIN over the phone. Their security procedures are flawed, and puts their clients at risk, and they refuse to acknowledge this.</p> <p> </p> <p>It is obvious that they are unable to put themselves in the client's shoes, and provide a service that is client-centric as opposed to only protecting the interests of the bank.</p>
