Terrible Service and given the run-around

Good Day

Awaiting a replacement Premium Platinum Cheque card for more than the time stipulated. I tried calling the branch, like I did last week (spoke to a lovely lady), yet this week I am told that FNB branches no longer take calls directly to the branch.

I then dial the call centre number and after clicking a million options, entering my ID number three times, I am finally speaking to an actual person - No help at all and the call get's disconnected. I call back for the 4th time, go through the same painful process and told by some woman that she will redirect me to the correct department - I am disconnected the minute she redirects my call. Once again I follow the most painful process, get redirected twice and speak to Marcelle. To confirm whether my new card is at the branch he needs to do a verification process. You may ask what the verification process is? To give the last 6 digits of my bank card!!!! Where do you suggest I get the last 6 digits when I do not have one?

I then make the mistake of leaving my office (during a busy day) to visit the Greenacres Branch. Nevermind the fact that we do not live in the stone age and visiting the branch is what we try to avoid. Walk in, tell them my silly story and the guy at the front takes my ID to check if my card arrived - It has. You may now ask why I was not notified? I get a ticket and instructed to wait as the queue time is 45 min-1 hour. Are you kidding me In a bank where I am possibly the 6th person?

Get your act together FNB - Do not call me. I am moving to a bank who will value me as a client.

Kind Regards,
