Terrible Customer experience
I have a revolving loan account with FNB. I paid my account early in December when I am supposed to only pay on the 1st of January. The reason was because I was travelling and I would want to ensure my account is up to date in terms of payment. Early January 2025 I start receiving automated calls saying that I owe money on my account in terms of the premium in arrears. I then called in and explained that I paid early and the agent explained that if you pay early the system would still say you are in arrears. I was then told they would escalate this matter to ensure the arrears is removed since I did pay the amount required. The agent then told me it takes 3-5 business days to get this resolved. After a week I started getting automated calls saying I owe money and I then called again and the next agent told me they would escalate this through an e mail and wait 3-5 days again. I accepted and then after a week I still was getting the automated calls and the arrears was never removed. Today I called in and was requesting that this is solved today and the agent I spoke to was giving me the standard response that they have escalated and I must wait 3-5 days. While this is all happening my credit score is affected by the fact that I am told I am in arrears when I paid, how else do I get help when the only people you can call are not helping you. I even asked the agent to speak to their supervisor and they said it was not possible
