Temp Loan a ****

On the 24th of November 2017 I took a loan of R4000.00 via Cellphone Banking of which i needed to finalise my daughter's school fees. Upon taking the loan I was under the understanding that i needed to repay the loan within the 31 days they had mentioned. 5 days later a friend of mine sent me R2760 unto my account to pay for her stokvel debt of which R1720 was "supposedly deducted" towards my loan repayment. When i realised that this had happened it was about 15:00 on saturday and i phoned the call center. The lady i spoke to was very understanding and was willing to reverse the deduction but couldnt because the transaction was not visible on her system. She asked that i call again the next day. I called on Sunday and the lady that i got diminished any possibility of the monies being reversed even after explaining that it was not mine. I called again on monday and my query was sent in, but still no response. I took the loan cause i know i would repay it on my payday (before 31 days ) on the 15th Dec. I am switching banks. I am so disappointed with FNB.
