Tax free shares/savings account = ****************

I opened a tax- free shares/savings account last year with FNB. Few a simple clicks and they were ready to stat debiting my account every month. Canceling the debut order on the other hand, felt like jumping through circus hoops backwards. I soon realized that with the admin fees, complicated tracking system and poor investment decisions they we're making, that this partnership had been a serve lapse in judgement on my part. I was however excited to mend my mistake, but after endless transfers (bouncing from one clueless department to another), I eventually found someone who knew what a Tax-free shares account was. Needless to say they had no idea how to cancel the debut order. The agent eventually advised that I should wait and see if my debut order goes off, and if it does I should start the painful process from scratch - no surprises when it did go off. After hours on the phone attempting to make this tiny change on my profile, I decided Hello Peter would probably be an easier way to get the job done. If you're feeling tempted to make a small fortune with this shinning promise of "sound stock market investment", I would highly recommend you opt for a more transparent and helpful platform like Easy Equities - it's been such a pleasure watching my money grow, knowing I have full control over what leaves my bank account. On another note FNB I'm still VERY excited to stop doing business with you - Absa is starting to look like an attractive option.
