Tapping function on bank card is security risk

I have complained about this before and I will keep on complaining, as it is an infringement of my consumer right to be protected. All the other banks have no problem canceling the tapping function on bank cards. For some rhyme or reason FNB refuses. I have seen numerous times that the machines pick up the cards from quite a distance, which is a total security risk. Why does FNB refuse to take away the tapping function
