Tapping cards...
firstly this is the dum.best iniative ever.
merchants tap cards without permission. its a huge security risk, but besides that the transactions never actually show up in your pending/reserved transactions. it's never there. until two weeks later when your funds are not enough, then it goes off. sending your account into a negative balance, which incurs fees because "you didn't honor your payment" how in the world did i not honor my payment if i paid, transaction approved and i walked out of the store with my things. they wouldn't let me thake the stuff if i didn't pay right. so why does your transactions go off late. recently i've been noticing similar thing happening with normal transactions (again) FNB's excuse is always it depends when the merchants bank their machines. As i work for three different entities all with speedpoint machines, i am pretty sure merchants bank with each end day, since they need the totals for their cash ups. and also FNB is the ONLY bank where this happens. My sister moved banks because of this, and now no issues at her new bank. No delayed debits of merchant transactions. what are you playing at. are you struggling? Trying to make customers pay even more fees each month? Would i be safer hiding my money under my mattress? Get yourself together man, or upgrade your systems. this is seriously messing around. i never know whats going on in my account because with you guys there is no transparency, and please dont call me saying, i buy for more than i could afford. because thats impossible. a transaction wouldnt go off if there was no money in my account to begin with so the delays are on your side
