Tap and go feature leaves us vulnerable- cant reduce limit, cant remove feature!

About a year ago I found that my card had this functionality. I was confused since no one from FNB consulted with me on this... But the limit was R200, anything more and the paypoint would reject the transaction as my card has to be inserted into the machine. I was shocked to find this past weekend that I tapped for a bill of R350... successfully!

Opened my app, opened the web and could not find anything that allows me to reduce the limit which I did not even set, I was not consulted on it either (no surprises).

Go into secure chat, Khanyisile Mbele advised me that I cannot reduce this limit to R100. OK, can I remove the tap and go feature? I cannot do that either. His advise was to keep my card safe.

FNB? You're not helping me. I am feeling extremely vulnerable.

Please provide me with the option to either reduce this limit to R100, or remove the functionality completely.

Thank you. Your credit card dept got in touch. It is still very unsettling that I cannot have control over the tap and go limits, nor can I remove the feature. And I bet that if my purse is ******, getting a refund from FNB is going to be a painful process.
