taking forever to open a bank account

I have spent over a week attempting to open a business account with FNB. I am starting a new business. I have had to send the same documents more than once, then they incorrectly populate documents that they send to me to sign, then after a few days, and my enquiry, they say I have to amend information to the form THEY incorrectly populated. I still have no idea how long this will take. It has already jeopardised my first contract as a business because I couldn't submit bid documents with banking details. If I wasn't so desperate to get account details for my first bid I would cancel the whole process and go with another bank. FNB came recommended but this is pathetic.
