TAKES 10 HOURS TO EFT FROM FNB TO FNB

On the 16th of September at 1627 hours I transferred R2800 from my FNB account via EFT into another FNB account. This was urgent money required by their customer. The money did not reflect until 0721 hours on the 17th of September.
Upon calling my banker Yoland Pillay and later the supervisor Nishal Devall, I was shocked by the stupid responses I got including attempts to justify the delay. While both these employees of FNB admitted that the money had left my account, their explanation as to where my money was between 1628 and 0721 the following day was idiotic reasons such as:
1. When you bank after hours the transfer is delayed (Meaning 1627 is considered after hours by this bank)
2. The delay in sending the message was blamed on the network service provider
In essence these two have been groomed to spin for the bank whose poor service is astonishingly condoned. I have been banking with this bank for more than 20 years and would be leaving them soon.
