I feel that it’s a tad unfair that in this time of lockdown and reduced salaries you only offer one repayment option. I app**** for your covid relief through the app. Only to read the fine print and see that I’ll have to pay back the money “loaned” to me with interest. So I decided to contact the call centre, the person on the other line rattled off what he was supposed to and showed no sympathy at all. Why am I not able to pause and extend my repayments for a period of 3 months? This was an option before the lockdown. You need to realize people are financially struggling and need all the help they can get. They don’t need to be putting themselves further in debt by taking out another loan-on top of the ones they already have- all because you have a take it or leave it kind of approach. I’m so disappointed, really.
