Greetings, I want to really commend FNB Menlyn Branch. I received the most excellent service. Unexpected and surprising service that left me feeling like a valuable customer for the bank. The long wait didn't matter any longer due to the great service.

1. I went to FNB Menlyn Branch on the 8th of September 2020. Yes I had to wait a while to be assisted, however, I was impressed to see the consultants hard at work. Sitting there also made me observe how much they follow protocol in terms of Covid safety. After a consultant is done assisting a client, they sanitize the work space which was for me so impressive.

2. But the highlight of my day was when a friendly and warm lady called me to her station - her name is Hlakiso Makgalo She served me like a Queen of FNB :) She assisted me with my inquiry which had some concerns in them She made all relevant calls to assist me She helped me reactivate my APP and took the time to explain the financial benefits of utilizing the banking APP She asked me about Funeral Cover and Life Insurance as an opportunity to introduce more services that FNB She advised me on eBucks - how I can earn eBucks, which stores help She also gave me some advice on how to stabilize my credit record She then provided me with advice on an alternative Cheque Account and the benefits of this Premier Cheque Account

I can go on and on and on. Hlakiso knows her job very well, she is well trained on the FNB products. She is able to identify the needs that a customer needs She asks relevant questions

She is a beautiful and professional lady who represents the FNB brand with pride. I left there feeling so honoured and respected. I felt spoiled and honestly I felt like I am the only customer that matters to FNB!! Yes me - the only one :)

I cannot stop raving about Hlakiso Makgalo to my family and friends. If I were to be honest, all the staff members I watched on that day were really patient and highly professional. They were working hard and they seem to have a good working relationship with one another. Even the security gentleman at the door is just as pleasant.

Amazing amazing. There is a young man who goes out to the door to ask people how they can be assisted and he is certainly a pleasure because he makes sure that one is at the right place for the right reasons.

So yes - that was my ever so wonderful and smile-keeping experience I had at FNB in Menlyn Park Shopping Centre I am still so impressed. Please do inform them that they are tops! They get a 5 star, and I know some days are harder than others but may they keep on serving with pride, it is worth it. I salute them.

I was unable to respond to the service rating on my phone because my phone is still suspended after I had blocked due to it going missing. So I am waiting for Vodacom to unblock for the past 6 months - can you believe it? I'll never understand why it's taking so long.
