Switching to FNB is not so easy.

I decided to switch to FNB based on good experiences of people I know with this bank. I app**** for an account twice by telephone, but both times the cards were never delivered. I ended up going to a branch and opened an account. So for the past three and a half months I've been trying to transfer my debit orders to FNB without any success. I've sent in the forms via email and visited a branch 5 times now over this period and for some reason that no one can explain, my debit orders still have not been transferred. I've phoned the debit order department and was told that I needed to affirm the transfer of each debit order. But how the heck should I affirm them if I don't receive any form of communication. They just said that they don't know what the problem is. Also I was made to understand that I receive 2 slow lounge visits a year. I used this access and was charged R250. I once again went to a branch and was told it is because I am not on level 1 of ebucks. I asked how I can get to level one and got a list of answers, including that I need to transfer my debit orders to my FNB account!!! So now I've had my FNB accounts for more than 3 months and have not been able to earn any ebucks because I first need to get my salary paid into that account. Guess I'll go ask Standard bank to take me back...
