Switching to FNB has only been a waste of my time

I switched from another bank in order to make use of FNB but all i'm getting is a horrible experience and am close to closing my new accounts now which i have no access to. I've received both my credit and cheque card in which it clearly says to go to an ATM to activate or sign onto internet banking. I went to the ATM only to get a message that the cards are not activated. I then sign up for internet banking and it says I need to validate by going to an ATM. I do the same and again my cards are not activated. I received the credit card last week and the cheque card yesterday in which a consulatant told me it would then be activated by midday today. Third time at the atm and still no luck . The only reason i moved to FNB was to avoid having to stand in line and deal with people but it seems its as bad as the other banks. At least they dont give false information. I'm seriously considering just closing off these accounts as FNB has really been unhelpful in resolving this and contact centre agents are not able to activate the cards although they are clearly in my position. Utterly disgusted with what i thought would be a smooth transition.
