Switching to Absa

I have been banking with FNB for over ten years now. I've financed my house and 2 vehicles with this bank and have student loans and credit cards with them. I tried to take out a debt consolidation loan to cover the debt I have with them and other debt and I've been given an extremely high interest rate which is said to be non-negotiatiable as I've been told. A debt consolidation loan as well as a personal loan of the same amount has the same interest rate?

Ridiculous.
