Switching over account from ABSA to FNB as per their advert

Started by visiting the bank in Fochville where we had to sit for a hour and a half on that day. Just moved to new venue I believe. Then in the discussions with the person assisting me I made it clear that I wanted to move accounts and he started to process. The firtst promise that as i had an credit card with ABSA one could be given to me with the same credit of about 17 000. then we proceeded and created a seven day investment account and a cheque account. With all the details i went over to ABSA and they transferred my account. I made it clear that i do not receive a monthly pension but on a need basis transfer funds into my account. I then presented the assistant with a list of debit orders which he promised to reinstate but later told me he could not do. Then the problems started - I was then asked to sent proof of income which i do not have and then was told to provide them with my statements from my previous banks which i did. We still the get more and more request and i went to the bank manager Fochville wich said she cannot do any thing futher and recommended that i should then go back to ABSA. The phone calls started and i asked to speak to somebody that can listen to me and make a dicission. But constantly get these people that can only recite procedures.

I feel that i have been misled by the group and would appreciate to talk to or have an appointment made with the CEO of First National Bank. As i believe that I am important enough to be heard.

Thank You

Abrie Schutte

********** 468
**********
