Switched to FNB-only to find i cant use my account

I switched to FNB and went to collect my card on 5 December at the Kloof branch. The lady that assisted me was a trainee, I handed in my FICA documents, received my card and an SMS stating my card had been activated. I then went to PnP the next day to buy groceries only to discover the card wouldn't go through. I got home and phoned the call centre to try resolve the issue, the agent said there was a hold on the card because the FICA documents hadnt been scanned and sent through, which is impossible because i watched the lady scan them. The agent said they are unable to lift the hold on my account as they dont have the FICA documents, the only way to lift it is to go to the branch AGAIN and get them scanned, unfortunately i am not able to go to the branch for the next 2 weeks as my schedule doesn't allow me to. The only other alternative is to scan the documents and email them but this takes 2 days turnaround time. This now means i have to wait until Tuesday/Wednesday until i can use any of my funds. There was no one to assist in sorting the problem out temporarily and the complaints department is only open from Monday to Friday. Not a happy customer!
