Swiped transactions being reserved & double deducted!!

FNB has a tendency of putting most swiped transactions under pending(reserved purchase), whilst at the time of transaction the amount swiped for has been deducted on the available balance, then a few days later when the transaction has been banked, they re-deduct that amount from your available balance again but in the statement they will show it as a single transaction meanwhile they have deducted that amount twice.

I have called their private wealth service call centre numerous times about this problem and was given a not so helpful response with no reference number’s to this calls. This is certainly how they ripp of clients to make profit of the so called elite packages they offer clients. These are all transactions under R1000 that always double deduct after swiping and going under the pending status. I am also considering changing banks because i have been monitoring this process for months now!!
