SUSPECTED ***** MISCOMMUNICATION - Delay in Rectifying. PLEASE HELP
Our company has quoted and contracted a service to a client, Mr N, whereby he paid us a deposit to book and confirm his project. He paid via Capitec the amount of R60k. He paid on this past Saturday, and the funds only showed in our account the past Tuesday. For some reason the client, Mr. N, reported to his bank (Capitec) that he suspect ***** occurred as the payment didnt reach us in time.
Capitec then immediately informed FNB of suspected ***** and the funds in our Account was frozen or reserved. We do not have access to funds, even after numerous communication was sent to both FNB (Beverly Nukeri - ***** Dept) and to Capitec. Capitec reported to the client Mr N, that they have instructed FNB to release the hold on our account as the client mentioned he overreacted to inquire about the delay in sending payments via Capitec to FNB. Capitec reported to the client they have sent through an Indemnity or some form, which they (FNB) has not yet enacted on.
This delay is causing us downtime, and we have absolutely no contact with anyone, as the FNB ***** line is constantly " experiencing high volume of calls", and no one replies. The reference number for this matter will be reported below this text. We wish this freeze on funds in our account be released, as we have been an established business with FNB for over 5 years, in our defense the consultant handling this matter could have informed us first via call or email that there is a complaint lodged and we could have prevented all of this.
