Support of *****
We noted ***** was commited on a FNB letterhead and was send to our client and a payment was made to the *****ualant account.
We contacted FNB that said we must contact ABsa. We followed all the procedures and now both bank say they cannot do anything nor give any information on the account that was paid into.
Both banks will support and protect the ********* rather than helping the clients. When I contacted the person who signiture is on the FNB letter confirming the account he said that he will look into it as the type of ***** is normal

Hello Peter Complaints
Good Day
Apologies for the delay,
Kindly note that the process requires that each victim reports the matter to his/her bank, and the victim’s bank is to liaise with the receiving bank. In this case ABSA, which is the victim’s bank was provided with feedback that there are no funds available to claim.
FNB has comp**** accordingly, account in question closed and flagged on the ***** database.
ABSA should deal with their client and advise him to log a query with the Ombudsman if dissatisfied with the outcome of the investigation. The Banks are also prohibited from divulging account information to third party, this can only be done in terms of the Section 205 ( Subpoena) and to the police investigation officer for investigation and court purposes.
Kind regards,
