Student loan stuff up

I am a second year student. My sister app**** for a student loan on my behalf for first year and that was fine. We were told we come and reapply for second year and were under the impression the loans were then linked and that the new amount shown to us was for both of them and expressed as much infront of the consultant. They were not. The consultant that assisted us - Refilwe - opened a whole new loan. We were then debited two amounts that were unexpected and so then called the loans department who promised to get back to us. They have not - a month later. So we went into the branch and were assisted by the same young woman. The consultant told us that the loans cannot be consolidated unless we apply for an actual consolidation loan in which the repayment terms of the student loan no longer apply. My concern now is that the terms of your loan are 18months or until the new year is app**** for or you start working. Well since the loans arent linked and an entire new loan was created come the end of june we will be debited for a full repayment installment instead of just the interest fees. I cannot afford that while i am still studying. It seems your staff are severely badly trained on your products and the customer is paying the price. I personally have been with fnb for more than 10 years and had faith that you would make my studies as stress free as possible. I was wrong.

Months later this has still not been resolved and no feedback is being provided. Now because of your incompetance you want to increase our interest rate saying that we have nor provided proof of re-registration for the second year which is what we provided in the beginning of the year inorder to get the loan for second year, what a joke. if this is not resolved this week we will be taking this to the Ombud!!!
