Student loan processed incorrectly
I app**** for a student loan via the app. The gentleman phoned me back, had me on the phone for more than 2hours. Told me I first need to apply for a personal loan and then they will convert it to a student loan after they receive my student card and proof of registration. Told me i need to ignore the personal loan quote he is mailing and wait for the student loan quote. Money was paid into my acc and i realized the figures are wrong. Phoned just to find out that my loan was processed as a debt reconciliation loan. The bank settled all my accounts - who authorized this??? Now I must cancel this (never app**** for it in the first place) and wait 30days for the student loan to be reconsider. This after they admitted a mistake was made. Now i am being penalized for the mistake the bank made. How is that for owning up yo their mistake. Unbelievable ridiculous!!!

A few weeks later and I am still waiting for this mess to be sorted. I cannot cancel the debt reconciliation loan as they figured a way to swop it to a student laon. Yet i am still in waiting for it to be finalized. In the meantime I paid interest on the amount used that was used to clear my two accounts on which they did the debt reconciliation. Somehow i think they are trying to see if we can reach a month.
My patience is really running out very fast.
