Student loan

Morning

My student loan is an interest only one, ive had these for 5 years for my daughers studies.

at the end of July, FNB decided to take the full amount instead of interest only, without any warning, no calls, no explanation, nothing!

i had to call them to see what was going on, they tell me they haven't received proof of registration for her studies, i investigate and this was sent to them on 30 May 2016. No they haven't received it so hey lets take the full amount!

NOw i have to proof to them that i sent that email, ive sent it 3 times to difference people and they are still not happy, this is unacceptable, this has caused me great distress as they have taken over double the amount they should and at month end!! ive has to make arrangements to get other monies to cover my accounts etc. No apologies no calls no nothing. This happened over a week ago, so FNB have had over 2000 of my money in their hands for a week, will i get compensation for this, no of course not. Time for change.

Im so disappointed in the way ive been treated, ive been with FNB for nearly 10 years.

Tracey Bradley
