Stuck in the UK with no active credit card

I had an overseas trip to the UK, from 10-21 Aug 2015. After an attempt to use my credit card, it seems I entered the wrong pin. I reported this via telephone to FNB Credit Card division, in order to supply me with a new pin, before the card might have been blocked. I spoke to several individuals, who assured me that a new pin will be phoned to me, which takes 48 hours. After 3 days, I still had no new pin phoned to me and had to start the process from scratch, after which I was assured that within 48 hours, a new pin will be phoned through, with no success. I am disgusted with the service. I was stuck abroad with NO money and this event left me stressed and in a ridiculous situation where I couldn't pay for my hotel accommodation, food bill, etc when checking out. I have never been so embarrassed and stressed in my entire life. One should think that you can leave the country, being assured that your credit card, and the support service is the last matter to be stressed about. FNB disappointed me and I am not in a situation to recommend your service to any other individual.
