Stop pressuring clients that are trying to pay!

I have been banking with FNB for almost 20 years now. With COVID, the companies I have and work for all took a very bad knock. My one businesses is in the fitness industry and was closed for months on end with no income. My loans and payments fell a bit behind, however with any money I recieved, I had been putting some into my overdue accounts to ensure that there are still regular payments being made. The last 2-3 months I have been paying the full installment monthly for my revolving loan. HOWEVER this has not stopped the attorneys working for FNB in harassing me over 3 times a week with calls asking me to pay more money. Let me just say that there is absolutely no way that I could have planned for COVID, there is no way I could have changed the fact that I went from a good payment profile to a bad payment profile. I could not change the fact that my salary went to R0 for more than 6 months. These are not things that were in my control. However me making payment as and when I could as well as taking the really inappropriate timed calls from FNB was in my control. I feel I did everything I could to try not run away from my debt despite the unfortunate circumstance that I found myself in. The daily calls with regards to a loan of R14000 remaining debt when I am making payment is unacceptable and I consider it to be harassment. I am making my monthly payments to catch up and settle the debt. The monthly payment is R2500! When you have barely any money coming into your account and you are battling to make ends meet R2500 is a massive ask. FNB have been absolutely shocking at understanding the current circumstance. Not once did you offer a reduced monthly premium, to just try and assist with the financial burden I am facing. Instead you are trying to sink your clients with high monthly repayment amounts. But it doesn't end there - as the R14000 is arrears and also the settlement on the account the attorneys are calling me daily to see if I can pay more in the month than the R2500 that I am already paying. HONESTLY FNB if I was able to settle the amount I would have, as it would save me time from answering the calls I get and the endless discussions I have that I will and can only afford the R2500 per a month, which even now is a massive ask. I have a bond and car that are both in arrears - so your R14000 is the least of my concern. I have had the worst experience over this small amount with you. The institution that has handled my bond has been more forgiving than you and totally understanding and the debt I am outstanding there is almost 5X the value I am owing you! You have been absolutely awful. No I cannot pay more than the R2500 per month and No I will no longer answer the calls asking me to pay more on a daily and weekly basis. Stop wasting money by calling clients that are actually trying to pay. Stop pressuring clients that are already under huge financial pressure if they are actually trying. Honestly take a step back and look at your business values! Some of us did not choose to willing close our businesses during COVID.
