STICK TO BANKING

As far as the manner in which my account is being handled .I am beyond satisfied and a proud FNB card holder. It was in the same spirit that I decided to get an FNB phone,my reliable bank had reached yet another Milestone and naturally I would support them which I did on the 23 September 2016.Made my purchase at the Dot FNB Branch in Centurion .Candice assisted me in purchasing the phone and informed me that the Sim card would be activated within the next 4 hours. Morning of the 24 September 2016 I went again to the branch to enquire as to why the Sim was not yet activated. All I got was a shrug and that I should call FNB connect on Monday morning.Sunday the 25 September 2016 was my birthday, people were unable to reach me because my SIM was not activated.Had a known that supporting yoyr venture would be such a tedious and frustrating process that ruined a momentous day in my life,I would have opted for an alternative service provider whose product is more reliable.Monday the 26th I called FNB connect, the agent informed me that my query has been escalated and I would receive a call within the next 24 hours.26 hours past ,nobody bothered to call.Tuesday morning I called again to follow up on my query ,guess what , there’s no record of my interaction and we therefore have to redo th process and I have to wait another 48 hours for my query tgo be resolved. I refused to accept this as a resolution and requested to speak to management.I was transferred to a “manager”who promised to have my query resolved by 11 am and will give me a call thereafter. At 11:29am I receive an e-mail from an agent by the name of Nthabiseng Mabalane who asks me to repeat the same information that have I been providing because according to her findings the SIM card has not been activated. I KNOW THE SIM CARD HAS NOT BEEN ACTIVATED THAT IS THE ONE AND ONLY REASON I HAVE BEEN CALLING YOU.THIS IS WHAT I KEEP REPEATING TO YOU .I ask to speak to the “manager” I spoke to .Her response “we have been trained to do this job “. Are you freakin kidding me.If your staff is so “trained”then why is there no first time resolution?Where is the client centricity?Where is the product knowledge ?Where is the professionalism? Where is FNB I know ??? What treachery is this??? I held your brand in such high regard. Why you venturing ingto cellphones if its just going tgo tarnish your reputation???”FNB,how can we HELP you?” HELP being the operative word.It feels like I am dealing with a government institution. I’m appauled at the level of service I have received.I am disappointed.

STICK TO BANKING,INNOVATE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN THERE AND LEAVE EVERYTHING ELSE TO THOSE WHO SPECIALISE IN THEM!!!!
